Attendance percentage calculator: how many classes can I miss?
Enter the classes you attended, the classes held so far and the minimum your school or college needs. See your percentage, how many classes you can still skip, or how many you must attend in a row to catch up.
Your attendance
The calculation assumes you attend every other class from now on, and that all classes count equally. Your institution's own record is the one that counts.
How attendance percentage is calculated
Attendance percentage = classes attended รท classes held ร 100. For example, 60 attended out of 85 held is 70.6%. To stay at or above a minimum such as 75%, the number of classes you can still miss is the largest whole number s where attended รท (held + s) is at least 75%.
If you are below the minimum
Each class you attend raises both numbers, so catching up takes more classes than you might expect. The calculator shows how many in a row you need. Speak to your teacher early: many institutions allow medical or other documented exceptions, and those rules are theirs to decide.
