FAQ

Maths practice: questions

Is the practice really free?

Yes. All the practice is free and needs no sign-up. Progress is saved on your device, and in your account too if you log in, so it follows you from phone to laptop.

How does the mastery score work?

Each right answer raises your score a little (more on harder questions) and each wrong answer lowers it a little. Get several right in a row and the questions get harder; struggle and they get easier. Reach 100 to master the skill. Your best score is kept.

Which grade should my child start with?

Start with the grade that matches their school year, then try one grade lower if it feels hard or one higher if it feels easy. We label each grade with the US Grade, the UK Year and the Indian Class.

Can we print the questions instead?

Yes. Every skill has a matching printable worksheet with an answer key, made fresh each time.

Does practice online replace a teacher?

No. Practice builds fluency; a teacher explains ideas, spots misunderstandings and plans the next step. Teachers in our network can help with any class.
