   Civics or political science

   Democracy, constitution, institutions and rights.

4. Weeks 7–8
   Economics

   Development, sectors of the economy, money, credit and globalisation.

5. Weeks 9–10
   Map work

   Locating places, rivers, mountains, states and resources.

6. Weeks 11–12
   Source and case-based questions

   Reading a passage or picture and answering with evidence.

The order and pace change to suit the learner, and the teacher adjusts after every few classes. Topics follow the learner's board or level.
