How to play Laser Mirrors

  1. Choose a level on the map. Tier 1 needs one to three mirrors; tier 2 adds more crystals and fixed pieces; tier 3 adds beam splitters.
  2. Tap an empty square to place a mirror from your tray. Tap it again to turn it the other way, and a third time to pick it up.
  3. Watch the beam update instantly. Crystals let the light pass through, so one beam can light several.
  4. Light every crystal to finish. Solve without hints for three stars.

Tips and strategy

  • Work backwards from a crystal: which direction must the light arrive from?
  • A mirror always turns the beam through 90°. “/” sends a beam going right upwards; “\” sends it downwards.
  • Walls absorb the beam. Plan a route around them before placing anything.
  • In tier 3, a splitter is the only way to light two crystals that are not in a line.

FAQ

Laser Mirrors: questions

How do mirrors work in Laser Mirrors?

Each mirror sits at 45° and turns the beam through a right angle, following the law of reflection: the angle in equals the angle out. Tap a mirror to flip it between the two diagonals.

What is a beam splitter?

A half-silvered mirror. Part of the light goes straight through and part reflects at 90°, so one laser becomes two beams. They appear in tier 3.

Is there always a solution?

Yes. Every level is generated with a known solution using exactly the pieces in your tray, and each one is checked automatically.

What age is it for?

About 8 and up. Tier 1 is gentle; tiers 2 and 3 challenge teenagers and adults.

Is it free?

Yes. It is free with no sign-up or ads, and your stars are saved in your browser.
