1. Weeks 1–3

   Greetings, introductions, shopping, travel and small talk.

2. Weeks 4–6
   Pronunciation and accent

   Sounds, stress and intonation, with clear and comfortable speech as the goal.

3. Weeks 7–9
   Vocabulary in use

   Words and phrases for situations, not just lists.

4. Weeks 10–12
   Grammar in speech

   Tenses and sentence patterns used while talking.

5. Weeks 13–14
   Listening

   Understanding different speakers and speeds.

6. Weeks 15–16
   Presentations and interviews

   Structure, openings, answering questions and handling nerves.

The order and pace change to suit the learner, and the teacher adjusts after every few classes. Topics follow the learner's board or level.

Learners (Kids to adults) who want a teacher to explain, correct and set practice, whether they are keeping pace or need support. Tell us the board or level and the teacher starts from there. We group learners by age and level, and one-to-one suits anyone with a deadline such as an interview.

How classes run

Before the first class

Each class mixes a quick recap, a new idea taught live, guided practice and a few questions to take away. Join ten minutes early for a sound and camera check, and use a laptop or desktop if the class needs screen sharing. Read what to expect in your first online class.
